SPRING 2021

DESIGN COMPETITION:

Los Angeles, CA

-  Low-Rise Housing Ideas -

Designed using listening sessions/interviews with Los Angeles experts on topics of:

  • Public Investment

  • Affordable Housing Models and Community Response

  • Transformative Climate Communities

  • Sustainability Across Regions

  • Community Land Trusts and Cooperative Housing Models

Designed and drawn by hand; modeled in Sketchup; rendered in Adobe Photoshop, Procreate, and Illustrator

As the project lead, I designed the project, coordinated with my team member, and

organized desk critiques with architects and design peers.

This design is conceived upon the premise that low-rise, multifamily housing can be a "home" in many ways

- a place for  someone to thrive socially, mentally and physically, for the long-term.
